MR. ADEBAYO ADETUNJI ADELEKE is currently the Independent Director on the Board of Unitrust Insurance Nig. Ltd. He is the chairman of the Company's Board Audit and Compliance Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile–Ife and a Masters in Business Administration from Delta State University. He has vast knowledge and experience in several sectors of the economy ranging from petroleum, marketing, depot operations, marine, aviation, asset management, manufacturing and construction. He was the pioneer MD/CEO of 5-Star Asset Management Ltd. and is currently the MD/CEO of Lancelot Ventures Ltd, a real estate development company based in Lagos. He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management and Institute of Directors. He has served/serves on the Boards Audit Committees of several companies like Honeywell Flour Mill Plc, Newrest ASL Plc, Wema Bank Plc, Lafarge Africa Plc, Oceanic Bank Plc and Thomas Wyatt Nig. Plc.

Mr. Adebayo Adeleke is currently a Non-executive Director of May & Baker Nig. Plc and BOC Gases Plc. He is the President of New Heartbeat Charity Foundation. He is married with children.
